Hassan Essa Clinches Spot on Manchester Ballot

Manchester, NH – Tonight, Hassan Essa secured a spot on the November ballot in a competitive primary to represent Ward 12 as Alderman. Essa released the following statement on tonight's election results:
 

 

 
"The results of tonight's primary are loud and clear the voters of Manchester are craving new leadership, both in Ward 12 and citywide, I stand ready to bring a new generation of leadership to Manchester," said Essa. "There is much work to be done between now and Election Day, but I look forward to earning the support of each voter in Manchester's 12th Ward."
 

 

 
Hassan Essa is a 20 year old Manchester resident who arrived in the city in 2000 as a refugee from Kuwait. He serves in the New Hampshire Air National Guard, is a full-time student at UNH Manchester, and if elected, will be the youngest Alderman in city history.
