Nashua Young Democrats Sweep City Wide Elections

November 7, 2017

Nashua, NH– Tonight the people of Nashua voted for a new, young, and energized slate of leadership to the Nashua Board of Alderman by electing Shoshanna Kelly, Dave Tencza, and Brandon Laws as Alderman at Large. Following the sweeping victory, New Hampshire Young Democrats Executive Director Amelia Keane issued the following statement:

“Tonight’s victory is a clear statement that Nashua is hungry for fresh innovative leadership to lead it into the future and make it a more appealing place for young people to live, work, learn and raise a family,” said Keane. “Time and again, leaders in our city have put roadblocks in the way of common sense policies that will attract and retain more Millennials such as the development of passenger rail, compassionate solutions to the opioid crisis, and meaningful investments in our public schools. With Shoshanna, Dave, and Brandon now sitting at the table representing a more progressive vision for Nashua, real change is about to come to the Gate City.”
