NH Young Democrats Congratulate Joyce Craig on Decisive Victory

Manchester, N.H. - Tonight Mayor Joyce Craig won re-election in a decisive victory over former State Representative Victoria Sullivan, 11,033-8,436 (57%-43%). Mayor Craig's re-election is a victory for young people in Manchester who have seen increased opportunity and a more welcoming, inclusive, safe, and vibrant Manchester under her leadership. "Mayor Craig has been an incredible partner and a great friend to young people in her first term as mayor," said Lucas Meyer, President of the New Hampshire Young Democrats. "Between her investment in Manchester schools, the businesses growing in downtown Manchester, and her commitment to ensuring young people have a voice in City Hall, it couldn't be more clear that this victory means we will continue to build a stronger Manchester. The success of this state hinges on making sure young people have a voice and a future here, and with Joyce Craig as the Mayor of Manchester, we know that progress will continue in our state's largest city." New Hampshire Young Democrats stepped up to make phone calls and knock on doors on behalf of Mayor Joyce Craig and the Young Dem candidates running down ballot. NHYD organized weekly canvasses and invested an unprecedented amount of resources into some of the toughest wards in the city.
